Navigation: TreeView, FolderView, and Search

This guide shows how to move around your content without getting lost.

🌳 TreeView (left sidebar tree)

This is the folder/file list on the left side.

You can:

  • open and close folders;
  • click a file to read it;
  • right-click items for quick actions (rename, move, and more).

πŸ—‚οΈ FolderView (card view)

When you open a folder, items can appear as cards.

This helps when you want to:

  • browse visually;
  • open files with double click;
  • understand folder content quickly.

🍞 Top path (breadcrumb)

Shows where you are and lets you go back with one click.

Example:

  • if you are in Projects > App > Guide, you can click back to Projects.

πŸ”Ž Search (local and global)

  • filters what appears in the tree;
  • great for fast folder/file finding.

Global search (Ctrl+K)

  • searches across your full collection;
  • useful when you remember a word but not the file location.
  • use clear folder names;
  • keep structure simple;
  • prefer a few main folders with clear subfolders.
