Core use does not require registration or a user profile.
No document backend
The core flow does not upload your Markdown library to our servers.
These boundaries describe the public site and the current local-first application.
Imported files and the search index stay in browser storage under your control.
A connection may fetch the site and updates. Document content is not sent as part of the core reading flow.
The public site uses Google Analytics, including Google advertising signals. The application at /app/ loads no analytics.
You can remove imported data through the application and clear site storage through the browser.
